The Torch is located in Charlotte, N.C. and our local CBS affiliate, WBTV, recently tested a family to see what they would do if they only had 5 minutes to leave their home. We love this report because it accurately shows how planning ahead can really make a difference. Annie Gudzunas summed it up best by saying, “It was frantic. There are so many thoughts going through your mind and you’re trying to keep an eye on your kids at the same time.”

The Torch will not help you in a 5-minute drill, but it will get you and your family to start talking about what might happen in case of an emergency. These are the kinds of conversations we want everyone to start having — whether you’re a customer of The Torch or not.
